So, hello…I’m Jelly. I created Freelancing Era.
Freelancing Era was born out of pure annoyance. lol
I kept getting asked how to get started as a freelancer or VA. And every time, I gave the same advice, shared the same links, and spent time answering it all over again. So I made a site I could just send people to. 🫶
Not the best founder story, but here we are.
Then I figured - why not also include the tools I like or enjoyed using, the ones I’m still trying, templates I’ve found helpful or built myself, and the pages or people that keep dropping gold content.

Contra is great. You can send invoices, create an aesthetically pleasing portfolio, and the analytics are GREAT. Payment methods? Lots of options. BUT… it’s kinda geared towards designers and developers. 😆 Still great, though. I wonder when they’re going to have a Notion Expert program 🤔
